benspencer.com v2 begins
When I first launched benspencer.com in July 2008, I envisaged it being a place to properly try my hand at blogging, showcase my work, and display my latest social networking content.
It became clear after a few months that writing articles containing unique content was a lot trickier that I thought. I found it took me the best part of a day to get anything near the standard I was striving for, and most of the time I was merely repeating what had already been said elsewhere.
Mixing work related content with personal content also wasn’t working for me, so this site will now be a personal resource containing interesting videos, photos, quotes, links and short articles. There will inevitably be some crossover, but a separate website will eventually be used to showcase my work.
I’m using the excellent tumblr to power the site, which will allow me to post content easier, and much more often.
